No player with his creds isn't in: 500G, 1000pts, 3X Cups...he's in.
The only thing working against Hossa is lack of individual hardware, and the only reason that happened is because a bunch of bloggers with delusions of grandeur are allowed to vote on the Selke and decided about 15 years ago that it will only go to centers in spite of the fact that there are no less than 3 seasons where Hossa was the best defensive FWD.

IMHO anyone who was paying attention would overlook that. Datsyuk and Hossa are the best defensive FWDs in the past 20-some years AINEC--the fact that a couple of those years the Selke went to Bergeron instead of Hossa is proof that they have to stop letting those bloggers vote on trophies.

Nice to see Doug Wilson get in along with Hossa. Wilson is all time franchise leader in points for defensemen. 24th ballot. :)

Marian Hossa remains Chicago sports' best FA signing ever.

Meh. I've kind of hated Wilson ever since he offer-sheeted Hammer. Then again, I probably should be thanking him, considering how well that move turned out for him, lol. Who knows how much/long Bowman would have signed Niemi for had Wilson not OS'ed Hammer.

Love seeing Hossa get in of course.

The best at getting off one timers that I ever saw.....yes, even better at it than Breadman was.
I agree, somehow or another he always managed getting those one timers off, it was impressive.
