We need to keep them from getting a three out RBI.

Javy puts his team on top in the 10th, and Arod spends the next five minutes criticizing him.

National TV has shit on any team from Chicago for years......the only saving grace was Micheal Jordan. If not for him, they would've shit on the Bulls as well. Back in 2005, the White Sox were a fucking after thought until halfway through the playoffs that year. I hate nationally broadcast games.

That was a nice W to get.

No offense all night, Cards with bases loaded no outs after two missed calls on one play, and the Cubs steal one. Sweet.

Bullpen and bench have been great. Those were the two things that stunk in 2019-2020

I can remember some Botchy teams in San Diego. He would run out 6 inning starters. Lead game over.

I find it crazy that the Cubs shut down against a old man like that. He came in with a +4 ERA and shut them down.

Cubs really need to take a look on why they are struggling like that.

Maybe we can trade for another frontline starter like Darvish at the deadline to put us over the top

They are scuffling, but the ump was insanely bad. All over the map with no rhyme or reason. He got 31 strikes called for him. Highest in a game this season.

I enjoy the team more than a lot of people here seem to but the cubs aren't 1 front line starter from being "over the top". The offense isn't good enough. I like the direction they've gone with it and i feel like it's getting better vs past years but it's not like the 2016 line up. Lot of bad at bats.

I saw that. But a 1 hitter? That is the part that bothered me. Dude ain't Cole.

Heyward going on the DL was big in helping the O. Getting Marisnick back would impact even more.

But
vs L starter 11-3
VS R starter 13-19.

VS L OPS .772
Vs R OPS .705
Batting L: .602

They are trending better but if Heyward was producing like last year then this would be a internal fix.

So the weakness is hitting left handed IMO. Rizzo leads at wRC+ 122 then Happ 108 hitting LH vs RHP. then Joc 108 vs RHP.

Jason was pulling a 77 vs RHP.

If money was not a concern. I would eat the rest of the Heyward deal. Platoon Joc and Marisnick. Joc is at 49 wRC+ vs LHP. so a platoon leading off is the right move

With RF pretty much open they could move Bryant back to 3B then move Happ to RF. Or Charlie Blackmon (35) — $21MM player option; contract also contains $10MM player option for 2023. Invest here and that helps situate the lead off and moving forward into 2022

So Sox do your job and spank the birds next. If ya all let them walk all over ya you will never hear the end of it.
