Adbert has to be the hard luck of the year winner.

Cubs just jumped to #3 bullpen ERA. SDP/indians ahead.

I read something earlier like 37 IP without an ER. Best in franchise history. BP has been insane

That would send a bad message to the team, especially if they in 1st place. Their payroll is only 12th highest in mlb.
I don't follow the cubs every year. Weirdly, I've gotten back into it this year. Mainly because I got access to Marquee. With that said, my knowledge is super limited. Based on what I have seen and read, I don't think they need a full tear down and rebuild. I think they have some nice pieces to trade, if they want too. They need a better starting pitchers, but they just got rid of Vu? I know it was a payroll dump, but at this point in the season they need to think about acquiring someone if they want to compete post season. They have Baez and Rizzo as good trade bait. I love those guys, but I could see it. I'm not a fan of trading KB. Maybe some farm prospects? I don't follow it that much. Since I live in Des Moines, I do need to make it to an I-Cubs game soon. I usually go to several every year just for something to do. Tickets are like 11 bucks.

End of the day, let's see what happens over the next 30 days. Cubs have some tough series coming up. If they succeed, they should be buyers at the deadline. They are hot now and that's all that matters. Cubs need these next two vs the Reds.

Idk how to end this other than Go cubs. I'd love to watch them in October.

What the hell did Bote just hurt? Looked like a shoulder but watching the play I don’t see what he could have done. He was in pain

Ouch. That looks like a dislocated shoulder for Bote.

Will be needing an IF ASAP.
