Eflin may not last very long at this rate. Already at 29 pitches with Descalso coming up.

He got two of the last three outs in game 7 of the first World Series championship in more than a century.

What an incredibly stupid comment.

So he failed to do the job and was part of the reason Chapman was so over used because Maddon didn’t trust anybody in the bullpen. He’s continued to not trust him the last couple years too.

Not sure what you're talking about. Phillies were ripping balls off Edwards and good defense prevented a total fucking disaster.

I don’t get why Maddon can’t freakin understand that you don’t use Edwards with a 1 run lead.

I wouldn't even put this on the bullpen. Philly is just getting very lucky with well placed balls.
Edwards tonight. He’s not missing bats.

Maddon is the last person on the planet that thinks Edwards can get anybody out. But he is the only one that maters. How many more games does this guy have to cost the Cubs before they give up on him?

The first two guys in the inning weren't hitting the ball hard. Hernandez barely was fair. Kingrey hit a ball that could have been a double play ball had it been farther left or right. Franco did hit the ball well but if McCutchen hits the ball like 2 feet left or right cubs have a shot at getting him and getting out of the inning.

Sorry I'm not doing the excuse thing. Edwards fucking sucks. Period.
