Looks like it will be a bull's eye for the Coastal Bend of Texas. Projected to be Cat 1 storm. Will linger around south Texas for 3-4 days, expecting around 20 inches of rain. Lots of flooding expected.

This reminded me of the show Survivor. IDK if anyone watches it, but there was this one season where people were dehydrated because it was raining for a week straight so they couldn't boil the water. Then all of a sudden it dawned on one of them that rainwater (including collected rainwater) was safe to drink and delicious.

Well that sucks, leaving your house and most of your stuff behind. I've never had to do that because I'm homeless and don't have anything, so I've been pretty lucky.

Here in San Antonio we expect the winds to be down to about 40 mph by the time the winds reach us , however the Rain.... 20 inches so the flooding will be severe.

Not as bad where I am, but still looking at tropical force winds and some heavy duty rain. Reinforcing one side of our fence, that shit is already flimsy.
