Bobby "The Aviator" Howry has been resigned by the Cubs.

The Cubs optioned Justin Berg to the minors and DFA'd David Patton.

I'm losing faith in this organization every day. Why did we keep Patton on the roster all year if we were just going to cut him this year. He had no right to be on that team last year to begin with.

I mean seriously, Lou used him 3 times a month during all of last year.

Not to mention we get Homerun Howry back....

His first outing he strikes out two, gives us hope, but then allows 2 earned and loses the game.

It's in Texas today, he'll give up 50, then Lou "will have to depend on someone else" and have Grabow give up 51 and then go back to Howry and repeat, but with 1 additional HR each game.

The only positive I can take out of this is that Berg is gone. But Howry could be even worse than him so :dunno:

They can sign me. I'm sure my one game of high school pitching and my 72 mph fast ball will throw some teams off. Not to mention my curve ball that really kinda spins but doesn't necessarily break.
