It's kind of bizarre. He's always been good then the cubs brought him in and messed with his mechanics/pitch repertoire and now he's terrible. Very cubs thing to do

As long as I remember he never was any good. He sucked with Pirates and wasn't all that good with Yankees. Hoyer rewarded less than average pitcher with above average pitchers contract.
