Jets are cutting last season’s starting right guard Brian Winters, per source. Winters was their longest tenured player, having been with the team since 2013.
As a starting guard, Winters is not expected to be without a job very long.

He’s a decent player but has been on injured reserve 3 out of the last 4 years

He plays right guard. We already signed a much younger Ifedi, and have Coward as a back up.

According to random Jet fans on Reddit, this was a cap casualty and he had to pass a physical for the Jets to get the cap relief. Take that with a grain of salt, i'm not willing to actually look into it unless the Bears sign him.

I am not convinced this staff can turn chicken shit into chicken salad at the RG spot. If there is a veteran out there at an affordable price Bears should give him a go.

He's been with the Jets since 2013?

I'm not worried about his physical health, I'm worried about his soul! After that much losing I'm thinking there's nothing left that shows any kind of a fight to succeed.

I'd say even tho we have a huge need for NT, but Pace should of at least made an offer to this guy, injured or not..I dont trust our O-line.. not even with a 10 foot pole. could of had a 10 man battle for the RG spot.

He just signed with the Bills.......
Vegas tip; Bills about to win the AFC North..i would put some money on that.
beside Bills been shaping up in recent years, they do have a pretty good O-line.
