Another day, another practice for the Chicago Bears in training camp, but the real story of the day came from the media sessions following the day’s activities when Jimmy Graham came to the podium. The veteran tight end, entering his second season with the Bears, was asked his thoughts about the team’s rookie quarterback Justin Fields and had glowing reviews for the young player — comparing him to “the guy up there in Seattle”.

Russell Wilson and DeShaun Watson seem to be the closest comps. Cool to hear from a guy like Graham who played with Wilson.

Does it seem like Fields has only had good days at camp so far? He just looks like he is getting better everyday with no sign of even minor regression.

It sounded like the worst day he's had so far was day one. A few days later there some excuses put out there that day one was scripted, and basically Fields was forced to throw it on certain plays, or forced to throw to a certain receiver whether they're open or not. I don't know if that excuse is valid or not, but that's what Hoge&Jahns were reporting.
