Trey Lance could totally suck in week 1 and still beat that dumpster fire of a roster the Bears will be running out there on September 11th.

Fields is the least of your worries.

Perhaps in the next 2 years Poles can put together a roster that the coaching staff can actually develop to be competitive.

One of the more concerning things about Lance has been that he just hasn't played much. He essentially only played one year in college, his program sat out the Covid year except for 1 game and then he sat most of last year.

At this point, Lance just needs game experience. He does have a good situation with Shanahan being his coach and being in the same system now for 2 offseasons.
