Let's say we get a Top Ten pick next year.

Agreed. Although, Myles Garrett is not the worst consolation prize if we pick 4th or 5th.

I would love to get M.Garrett but if we did draft him in the first i would want us to use 2 of our 4 picks in rounds 2 through 4 (we have two 4th rounders) on QB's. Grab C.Kelly with one of them even though some say he's Cutler 2.0 cause he's got the talent.

The Bears are the worst team in the NFL. Even radio optimist Tom Waddle was talking about it on Monday.

The real question is what week do they secure the 1st pick.

If by some miracle Jesus floats down from the heavens and grants Hoyer a few fluke wins knocking us out of the top 2 then Pace needs to do whatever it takes to get the fuck back in position to get Kizer or Watson.

I'm so sick of the let's just take whoever falls to us or trade down bullshit. No. If your scouting tells you Kizer is going to be a great franchise QB then move the fuck up and get your guy. Stop waiting and hoping for people to fall into your lap. This isn't the time to be settling for left overs. If you're truly serious about rebuilding then you need to do whatever it takes to get the guy you want, period.

Haven't decided about Kizer, but they need to make an attempt.

I'm not sure they have the courage to pick a qb in the first.

The Browns traded down for picks and passed on Carson Wentz.

That might be the biggest fuck up in the history of the draft. Probably set them back 10 years on top of the 100 years they are already set back.

Wentz looks like Andrew Luck, with out the turnovers.

I loved him, but I can't say I was smart. I liked him more than Goff.

You have to try, basically. We've all seen later choices pushed to the curb. Player development means a lot. These guys can't see that Howard is their best back.

Hardly inspires confidence.

On a positive note for Chicagoans, how would a free Grant Park gig with Pearl Jam and the Pumpkins be? I probably wouldn't be able to make it.

Garrett or Kizer/Watson.

My ideal scenario would be to trade down from 1.1, while still ending up with one of the 3.

Not sold on either. Imo, Kizer has faced better competition, but I'll wait until April to embarrass myself.

Maybe we should just pick a QB in every round.

(Sadly I'm only mostly joking)

Wentz has a photographic memory and was the valedictorian in High school to go along with his prototypical size, athleticism and arm.

For the love of God Pace, please draft someone like that for our QB...

(In a few years it may be hard to do that since our dumbass participation trophy society wants to move away from academic awards in schools so we don't hurt the feelings of those who didn't try as hard.)

I like Wentz very much and did out of NDSU, but what's next? He's omnipotent?

Carson Went'z don't come out of every draft. There are football people out there that had him actually project higher than Luck coming out. He's a rare breed.

I'm sure there was cuz there's always a few, but who?? I remember us all talking about him in January and I said he would be the first or second overall pick when he was still projected outside of the first round. I didn't even know about his memory and academic accolades until recently. I feel like heading into last year's draft most were saying that it was a shit year for QB's...
