They aren't crippled by overpaid underperforming aging vets like the Bears have on defense.
Over the last 10 years, they have won just two less games then the Bears.
Head to head they have split evenly during that time frame in head to head competition.
They have one more playoff appearance during that time frame, same amount of wins.
Running game? I will take Swift over Monty any day of the week.

And the three years before that?

The reason Toub could be a good coach is that he works with all sides of the ball.
he wouldn’t be bogged down with play calling.

Lmao, your lost in your delusions to think the Bears are significantly better. Since 1990 in head to head competition, the Bears have one more victory than the Lions. And that includes the 0-16 Lions season you speak of.
