I just want to see our QB hit receivers down field. Is that so much to ask? They don't all have to go for touchdowns, but Christ on a Cracker I'm tired of having zero confidence that our offense can make a big play.

No one cares about how big an arm is if you cant be accurate. Mitch rarely was.
which is what had me puzzled because supposedly accuracy was his strength coming out of college. lol. Anytime Mitch threw deep, it was probably a 1/4 chance that he would hit the receiver.

Reminds me of the TD pass Grossman threw in the 2006 playoffs vs Seattle

Yeah that was bizarre. I get it that his brain never got up to NFL speed but losing his deep touch completely was a pretty odd thing to happen.

Mitch always seemed like he was thinking too much, instead of just playing.

A blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. Mitch had one of the worst deep balls I have ever seen.

Good observation. I will be interested to see if he makes any progress in Buffalo under known established coaches.

I do like that the word 'accuracy' was often used to describe Justin's strengths. I don't recall that word being used to describe Trubisky's strengths.
