Chicago is finalizing deal to send Marquis Teague to the Brooklyn Nets for forward Toko Shengelia, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Here we go...........

It's looking like we removed Teague's contract ($1.12 million) for next season.

This seems like something that will hurt tanking though.

More guaranteed money off the books for next year. Adding frontcourt depth for the remainder of the season. Although, I think this hurts the chances of Hinrich getting dealt.

Exactly.

This is beginning to remind me of what happened leading up to the Summer of 2010. GarPax appear to be setting up for a huge trade or huge FA signing.

Tweener forward. Decent athlete, his best asset is attacking the rim. Watched some of his highlights. Kind of reminds me of Omri Casspi or Andres Nocioni.

Yep,
2014/15 team salary - once Boozer is dumped - will be 46.9 mill.

Looks like we are gonna be players this off-season!

Seems like the Bulls are keeping Hinrich but I think they are going to trade MDJ now

Yeah just looked for some clips on Youtube

Seems like he´s somebody who can put the ball on the floor, like that a lot because that´s something the Bulls desperately need!

I´m interested how much he plays under Thibs and how he plays.

I´m also very interested to see ow Teague develops on an other team ....

What if that rumored trade of Hinrich & pick for Harrison Barnes becomes a reality. If we somehow traded Boozer before the deadline for expirings or amnestied him after the season, we could be looking at a line-up next season of:

Rose
Barnes
Melo
Taj or Mirotic
Noah

God I wish we could find a way to package Gibson and Boozer....

Boozer to Phoenix for Emeka Okafor's expiring deal and the rights to their first-rounder from the Pacers for next season.

Trade Taj Gibson and Mike Dunleavy to the Jazz for Marvin Williams' and Brandon Rush's expiring deals.

That'd put them at $35 million guaranteed salary before their draft picks and free agency, essentially keeping them right around $40 million in salary. Keeping a core of Rose (hopefully), Noah and Butler, throwing in whatever rookies, maybe Mirotic and whoever they could bring in during the free agency period.

Please, God. Please. Please. Please.

any time left on Toko's contract and what nationality is he in relation to Mirotic?

(answered: Toko is from "Georgia" who is in conflict with Russia. Nikola is from Serbia, and Serbia and Russia are big allies to each other. I like this Toko character though, and think his style of play would be good with Mirotic and they could become a thing if they let their playing styles bond they will be part of a super bench who contribute starter minutes through out the grueling meat of a season. Dunleavy, Snell, and Butler means our slashing 2-4's are settled for years and the loss of Deng is minimized. Perhaps we could get Deng back in Free Agency, I don't know, but we are probably going to add the starter at the 3 or 4 in free agency, and I am assuming we will not trade Noah in the end realizing we over value him in a trade market. Our best world could be

Rose-Butler-Melo-Mirotic-Noah (with Augustine, Gibson, Toko, Dunleavy, Snell, 1st rd pick, 1st round pick, 2nd rd pick, Murphy) making the bench top 9

Good move. Dunleavy will be moved next. I am surprised by the Bulls FO aggressiveness. They are looking to be major players this off-season.

The thing is, can the Bulls really secure a player like Melo or Lebron?
