Pace seems to have the same problem

what type of signings do you expect this time of year with no cap space? Every team fills out a roster with cheap vets like this. They can’t all make Mack or AR money.

He is legit WR. He missed time before and last season because he has had medical issues with his children and wife during pregnancy.

I think he is likely WR 3 or 4 and brings more elite speed.

Reduces a draft need, allows them to trade up more easily, and allows them to trade Miller.

Everytime they sign a guy like this.....I start wondering....is he finally going to actually address the offensive line in the draft?

I hope and have said OT should be in the first. But I have a suspicion it will be a CB. Caleb Farley. If medical check out, he could be a #1 CB.

WR

1. Robinson
2. Mooney
3.
4. Goodwin
5. Ridley
6.

the backend of the WR depth chart was always going to be blown up.

thats probably ideal for him. He’s not even a roster lock at this point.

Agreed. Everyone saying he sucks as a WR are just looking at his stats but at this point in his career with all the injuries and missed time he is no lock. I do wish him the best though, maybe the year off was good for his body assuming he stayed in shape and he can stay healthy as a part time receiver. Dude can fly and this team needs more speed.

Talent wise he's definitely a CB #1 and would be real hard to pass up. It's just that back issue and he'll probably check out good medically but back issues don't just always go away even with surgery.

Damn he is below a blank spot on the depth chart. Does that mean in 3WR sets the Bears are going to play 10 guys rather than put him on the field?

I think they are likely to draft someone for the 3 spot.

I agree, I don't think this signing takes away the need for another receiver in this draft

Eagles fans were pretty excited about him last year, then based on the fact that him and his wife had complications around their newborn he rightfully decided to skip the season.

He's a world class athlete and was thinking of focusing on long jump in the Olympics.

He's extremely fast/explosive. A lot of his plays were schemed well for him to be open, but can also make contested catches.

Here's the 'welcome to Chicago' highlights:
