It's crazy that 5 of those six are from his rookie year. I guess that's what happens when you have no idea what special looks like. I am still force feeding myself crow for doubting Hester when we drafted him.

Hester had less chances of returns as the years went on. Not only were teams punting the ball out of bounds teams kickoffs were going out of bounds. That didn't happen his rookie year.

There certainly are a couple of players from that 06 Bears team I would have love to have had this past season:
1. Bernard Berrian starting opposite Allen Robinson.
2. You could argue a healthy Briggs.
3. Urlacher over Leonard Floyd.
4. The entire 06 starting offensive line
5. Possibly Thomas Jones at RB?
6. Robbie Gould at K
7. Mark Anderson would have been a homewrecker at OLB, but not in place of Khalil Mack. In addition to somehow? But then not sure what to do with 54.
