For someone who portrayed himself as a draft expert, he was putrid at the draft. Essentially just drafted Alabama and Clemson players and took some big reaches at that.

blew my mind when I saw he was the Raiders GM. I thought it was one of those things where someone coincidentally had the same name... no, it was the same exact dude lol
I used to watch his stuff on NFL Network for the combine, I hope he goes back to that too. also who cares that he "missed" on Trubisky? the Bears are so bad with any quarterback, rookie or established, they could fuck up a 2 car funeral.

How much control did he actually have over the drafts? I have to believe it was far more Gruden than Mayock calling the shots there.
