It is one game. One thing that I like about him is he has a .204 BAA. That is a legit statistic vs a 1 game wonder. From the report he didn't have full command of his 4 seem and went heavier (14%-> 20%) into his curve. MPH wise we are talking 89 MPH to 68 MPH difference. Even the Brewers were not prepared for a change of attack like that and it caught them unexpectedly.
So this is most likely a one time thing with Alec but the take away from it is he should start to lean off of his slow curve more as he throws it for strikes.
