Do this, and if you're still using Analog hitting, change it to "Timing". Use custom settings and change the difficulty to Rookie. It'll be much more enjoyable for you until you get the hang of things.

I use timing....

I think it's just the camera angles...I could hit with the high camera setting in old MLB games...but there is no high camera, everything is catcher's level

and it sucks.

No offense, but I hate when people blame the game.

It's ok to admit you suck in a video game.

Easily fixable, here's what you do.

1. When your very first batter comes up to the plate, press start.
2. Go over to User Settings and scroll down to Cameras.
3. You'll now see your batter up at the plate and a menu right next to him. On the batting view option, scroll over to Custom 1.
4. Once you're on Custom 1, press Square to edit the camera.
5. Now you can literally place the batting camera any where you want. High, low, off to the side, wherever. Fiddle with the joysticks and the triggers to move the camera and zoom in and out to wherever you're comfortable. Just keep tweaking it for every pitch until you get it right.
6. Hit X to save it, and it'll be saved under Custom 1 forever. There are three other Custom camera slots as well.

Started a Marlins chise, as expected 0-2 to start the season.

Picked up Grady Sizemore to help Stanton out as the lineup is atrocious.

Nolasco & Jacob Turner had both solid starts ruined by the bullpen.

Updated OSFM workchart- Link

Might not look like a lot team wise, but the guy in charge said the estimated cumulative percent completed is 40%. Getting closer.

Me and my friend did a two team fantasy draft and picked two teams in the same divisions so we could play each other a few times. Sim'd the rest of the season. My lineup was stacked, and I had Verlander. But looking at the end of season stats, my offense dominated but I had the worst pitching in baseball. Finished with 90+ losses. My bullpen was atrocious and I didn't have very good #3, #4, and #5 starters.

You really need to balance it out. I grabbed Verlander first, then went offense pretty much the rest of the way and paid for it.

Nope, I didn't take any of YOUR Cardinals with the first 9 picks. I actually only have 2 Cardinal's on my team and that's Trevor Rosenthal and Randy Choate in the bullpen (and Shelby Miller in AAA). Here was my lineup and rotation with their overall ratings:

RF- Ichiro Suzuki (75)
2B- Jemile Weeks (80)
DH- David Ortiz (78)
CF- Adam Jones (94)
3B- Ryan Zimmerman (93)
1B- Freddie Freeman (84)
LF- Justin Upton (89)
C- Brian McCann (89)
SS- Derek Jeter (74)

Jeter and Ortiz really regressed overall rating wise as the season went.

1. Justin Verlander (99)
2. Francisco Liriano (83)
3. Edinson Volquez (83)
4. Tim Hudson (77)
5. Andy Pettitte (74)

My bullpen was rather terrible with Addison Reed (82) as my closer, Jose Contreras (71) and Randy Choate (73) as set-up men, Rosenthal (78), Pedro Feliciano (68), Clay Hensley (68) and Dylan Axelrod (73) as middle relievers, and Michael Bowden (73), Rafael Castilla (67) and Nick Maronde (60) as long relievers.

The computer only put one guy on my bench and that's Yorvit Torrealba (76). Everybody else they sent to the minors, like Sam Fuld (74).

I started a RTTS last night. Was drafted by the White Sox, and was hitting the cover off the ball in the first two weeks of AA..They ended up promoting me to AAA after 2 weeks..Struggled a little with hitting for the first few games...I did the same thing with last years game, but had to learn some plate patience...But now hitting the cover off the ball again..
