I do this trade.

The problem is you run the risk of repeating the Trubisky trade over again...Wilson could be as bad as Trubisky.
The roster we have isn’t conducive to helping a quarterback learn as he goes. It’s not conducive to a veteran who can’t move around and is a statue. If you are going to trade away draft currency why not at least get a quarterback who is already a known commodity..

Would be a great trade. All draft picks are a risk. If Pace had taken one every year like he said we would not sit here with no QBs under contract besides Foles.

If they all are a risk.....would you rather have more or less of them

It cuts both ways. Trading multiple 1sts AND paying top dollar will get you Watson, but then you are left in cap hell with few future draft picks to restock the roster.

Wilson could be as bad as Mitch. He may be better than Watson. You never know.

True....I’d bet my life savings he won’t be better than Watson.
even if he were better than Watson....it won’t help us if we’ve given away all our draft picks and have to build a roster with bad free agents that are cheap.
8-9 next year at the very best
