I dont watch a lot of them, and he has been mainly RT. I believe the year Williams held out all year he played LT and I saw a game or two and thought he played really well. I'd love him as a swing tackle and be comfortable with him starting at either T spot

Hopefully, they sign him because counting on Jenkins at LT is dumb af.

Anyway, I figured they'd bring in a vet. No way they count on a rookie and no depth.

I wouldn't call a 1 yr $825k backup contract a fail when we actually got viable reps from him. Never liked the guy but served a purpose.

I always expected we would sign a vet tackle. Jenkins can't be made the starter with no competition and no real backup, without even playing a game in the NFL. That's true for any rookie.

Had to wait for June 1 though.

Moreno had a 79.9 overall grade from PFF with 70.7 pass blocking and 84.7 run blocking so putting him at RT would seem to be a clear upgrade particularly in the run game.

He also can move over to LT if need be as he played 2.5 games at LT in 2020 and his grades were 70.2, 73.8 and 77. So would be a good get IMO ad a starting RT that can play LT if an injury happens.
