Wootten, high school coaching legend, dies at 88

Hall of Fame high school basketball coach Morgan Wootten, of whom John Wooden once said that he knows of "no finer coach at any level," died at age 88, according to DeMatha Catholic High School, where Wootten coached for 46 years.

Thanks for sharing. This man was a Maryland hero. He turned down multiple NBA and college offers to stay with Dematha(right up the street from me).
A local legend. He inspired me. I never was good enough to play for Dematha but went against them(my school was in the WCAC).
