1. Kayaking trip in Kefalonia, Greece. Went into caves that were really nice, water was beautiful.

2. Hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon was really nice. Different world down there. Craziest thing was crossing the bridge over the Colorado at 3 in the morning, we couldn't see it below us but we could hear it loud and clear. Wild.

3. Sequoia National Park is really something else. Like walking among giants.

How about you guys? Any recommendations?

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Indiana Hoosiers
  2. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
1.I also hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.....it was an amazing experience. Anyone who hasn’t been to the canyon needs to go. Been there 3 times
2. London to see the Ahmet Tribute Concert ( Led Zeppelin reunion), such a beautiful city, clean and very easy to get around. Seen all the tourist traps. Went to Jimmy Page’s house in Kensington ( @bearmick wil, say it’s London)
3. Colorado.....any where. Rocky Mountain National Park, Pikes peak, royal gorge, Estes Park. Fargo’s.

Banff, Alberta, Canada

The town itself is touristy, but the mountains around the town are better than anything in America IMO.
Disclaimer: never been to Alaska.

Which trail you take down/up? We took the South Kaibab down, Bright Angel up the next day.

Definitely want to go to Colorado

Santorini.

Mijas in Spain.

The drive from Denver to Glenwood Springs in Colorado.

And of course my old home town of Edinburgh in Scotland, one of the coolest cities in Europe.

Awesome. Looks like West Virginia with bigger mountains.

As would anyone. In what alternate reality is Kensington not in London?

Was Jimmy home?
sadly he was not home, but as I told my wife....it was the day after the concert so he probably wouldn’t be home....and I was right for the first time in our marriage.

Me and my son are taking a two week trip at the end of July. Hitting Colorado for a few days , then the canyon for a day and then to California.

I disagree, a place that is zero fun in Colorado: Anywhere on the 76 between Denver and Nebraska. There is literally nothing. It is the least fun drive around, and I live in New Mexico.

That’s Too bad, I love the mountains and we are going to retire in Colorado Springs just above the Garden of the Gods.

Been to the petrified forest and painted desert while traveling to the Grand Canyon...don’t remember them as much though.

Oh Colorado is beautiful when you are in the Rockies, there are just parts of the state that are flat and generally boring.
