This is such a crap article. The Cubs are supposed to feel that bad about not signing two guys who did hit a lot of home runs but neither batted over .240 or had OBP above .340 for 35 M total? The Cubs were in no position to win in 2022 so why should they be trying to buy winning pieces in winter of 2021. This coming offseason, I think they need to be buyers as they look to truly get back to contending in 2024 and need to start that process like in 2015.

It is a dumbass article.....probably another CCS bot. Although not bringing back Schwarber with the DH right around the corner was pretty silly particularly since he's become a HR machine. The guy was made to DH....letting him walk for nothing was stupid.
