My double trade down scenario has Bears ending up with 12 picks in total.I didn't mock the players yet.

I used this draft chart:

1st trade, Bears trade 2nd rounder #43(470 points) and 7th #226(1 point) =471 pts
to Baltimore for 2nd#60(300pts), 3rd#92(132pts) and 4th#134(39pts)=471 pts.

2nd trade,Bears trade 2nd rounder #50(400 )=400 pts
to Miami for 2nd #56(340pts),4th#141(35.5), 5th#173(21pts) 7th#227(1pt), 7th#246(1pt) and 7th#251(1pt)=399.5pts.

So,this would give the Bears the following slots in the 2020 draft
Rd.2#56
Rd.2#60
Rd.3#92
Rd.4#134
Rd.4#141
Rd.5#173
Rd.6#196
Rd.6#200
Rd.7#227
Rd.7#246
rd.7#251

This gives the Bears a lot of picks. More picks than holes though, so after round 5, we'd be looking at practice squad guys. They are increasing either this yearor next year. Does my scenario have us trading down too far? Who might the Ravens or Miami want to move up for? There are teams between 43 and 60 that may be in the mix for 2nd round rb's and wr's.

I like the amount of picks and we know pace is good in the mid rounds. I don’t love moving down nearly 20 spots though but I don’t hate it. I do hope pace takes a similar approach. Multiple trade downs and acquire a 3, 4, and 5.

We could also use those 6th and 7th round picks to move up or even trade for picks in 2021.

Teams dont follow the trade value chart religiously. Dolphins are not going to give up all those picks to move up 6 spots. You would be lucky to get the 4th and 5th rounder much less that and all those 7th rounders.

First trade is a bit more realistic. I suspect though Bears will have to accept less to move down given draft is deep.

1st is a major drop, but get 3rd & 4th, so maybe.
2nd trade from 50 to 56 is more likely, but better to get less back but higher. 3 more 7ths are pointless.

In all honesty, I value having 2 top 50 picks more than having alot of late round bodies that probably won't make the team. I wouldn't mind a small trade down to maybe recoup a 4th, but I don't really wanna do something this radical. Was playing devil's advocate.

I feel like if we made enough trades, we could have the ENTIRE 7th round all to ourselves. Imagine having 32 draft picks, ALL of which being in the 7th round. SUPER BOWL!

we could collectively all masturbate in unison, I don't quite follow this hypothetical "LOL BAREZ CAN DRAFT THESE PPL" mock draft bullshit nonsense and what it's supposed to do for the Chicago Bears?

Congrats Apple! You can do basic arithmetic.

Can't say the same for your grasp on reality because it takes two teams to trade, not addition of value points. The ravens aren't making a deal with this team that is equal or benefits the bears.

The Phins have 3 picks in the 1st round, #39 and #56 in the 2nd round and are being built from the ground up, and are still with a ton of holes. They have 4 spins at the wheel before the pick you hypothetically trade 6 spots up for. Who do they love at 50 that they cant trade back from 39 or have taken already?

Beats me, but I would assume a ton of holes is more than 4?

They're a rebuilding team with needs all over the place.

It makes no sense for them to take 4 guys THEN realize there's someone they have to have 6 picks ahead of their 5th pick in the draft.

But hey, who cares about what's logical for the other team when you can do math off a chart!

Good job making your 666th post as evil as possible by killing the dream you bastard.
