Don't sign the 5th year option and offer him a 5 yr contract that will guarantee him $20m over the next 2 years ($10m per) with $30m per thereafter. Only guarantee that $20 which is high backup money and either reward him with the $30m if he comes around or cut him/renegotiate with no hit after 2 years. This next year is his anyway and if it's a fail, we may need him one more to groom the next guy.
