No one knows me. I barely ever post. I'm a huge lurker. But I do enjoy coming on here at night and reading posts to learn about stuff that's happening because I don't have time to always stay up on the news about the Bears. I also like reading about how people feel about other teams that we are going to play and how the matchup will go. It's also great to go through the game thread after the game on Sunday's and see how people reacted at certain points during the game, or how they felt about certain calls, etc. to see if they matched up with my feelings/opinions while I watched the game. In other words, I come here to enjoy reading football talk.

However, it does get real stupid going through threads and having 10 pages of back and forth name calling and shit talking between posters that has nothing to do about the Bears, the thread or football in general. Grow the fuck up. If this is how some of you act in the real world, it astonishes me that you have gotten this far in life. There will always be disagreements and at times some things can get heated. That's fine. We are all human. But for fuck's sake, does it have to be a daily thing, in every damn thread between the same people over and over?

My advice, make a new forum where people can go talk shit to each other all day every day if they want. Hell, maybe there is one already. I don't know. I only come to the bears forum. People come here to talk about football. Not to hear a bunch of grown men acting like they are adolescent internet tough guys.

I mean I am not going to argue against this, but you've also described most of the internet. We try to reign in it quickly & quietly if it is derailing quality threads, but there is never a perfect science to it.

Honestly, you should be mod, or @VickAshley✅️verified.
