“I also used Brian Urlacher, who returned punts at New Mexico,” he said. “A guy that I had some familiarities with, Leighton Vander Esch, but [Andersen’s] a better pure athlete than Leighton.”

Troy Andersen is almost 6’4. Runs a 4.42 at 240+.

I know linebacker isn’t #1 on people’s list but this guy is gonna be great.
I have liked this guy since before the season ended! I am not sure about a 2nd rounder for him, but a 3rd wouldn't be a bad idea.

I’ve seen talk of him even going round 1.

Sounds like a helluva second round pick. 5 stars if Poles gets him in the 3rd but I doubt that with those measurables.

Worst case scenario he upgrades a starting 11 position. Maybe Roquan moves to WLB.

There is allot better talent on defense in this draft than offense. I know people won’t like it but there is a big chance most of our picks will be on defense side of the ball

I agree. There are some really good looking players available on D.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
My biggest concern is the competition he is going up against, as with any smaller school/confrence athlete.

He could be the next Chris Conte too...

Since we're talking about white players

Compared to Urlacher who came out of the powerhouse football program known as New Mexico?
