No pick six?

He actually threw less than Wilson but the same as Mahomes

For a quarterback as bad and inaccurate as Mitch Trubisky he was kind of turnover averse. I think he might've been so inaccurate that the ball would go somewhere so out of the way that even defenders couldn't react to it in time. Or just sail out of bounds where nobody could get it. He also seemed to play scared a lot and I think he was much more content to have a three and out than get a couple of first downs then throw an interception.

- part of Pace's evaluation of Trubisky in college was his defensive ball skills after turnovers - Watson and Mahomes were both embarrassingly bad - part of the decision making to move up to get him in the two spot.
