I changed the thread title to support the derailment. Not good enough?

I actually didn't even notice it. I think it's a normal thing in society for when someone has to choose a side in anything to choose the side with the majority of people in it so i get what's going on and i'm just gonna leave this discussion alone. I walked myself right into another troll job like an idiot.

There's leaders and there's followers. We just happen to have more followers then leaders here.

And one of those reasons would be that the trade wasn't a fair trade correct? That's why it was vetoed and they all signed up for a league that said the commish votes on trades not league votes.
Actually, when we signed up, the trade setting in place was for it to go to a vote. You changed it to commish makes the decision AFTER everyone payed. Why lie?

Can someone that's not on ignore please relay this to Liar70, thanks in advance.

Thank God you're just a follower. Judging by your ability to lead a FF league, you're a real Trumper.

Usually when someone has specific accusations against them, and when given multiple opportunities to respond they instead complain that they are being 'wronged', I don't think "wow...everyone is just ganging up on this guy for no reason".

The only thing of substance you've said is that one of your trade vetoes involved "Watkins".....I think Ronald Reagan had a clearer memory of Iran-Contra.

I've commished leagues for about 10 years, sometimes 2 or 3 each year.

Conservatively I was commish for at least 20 leagues.

I never had cause to veto a single trade... not once.

And FTR I was commish for a CCS league that included a number of these 4-5 supposed tyrants who drove DB70 to madness.

Just adding my experience... somehow that league ran just fine without me having to intervene and veto trades or fuck with people's lineups.

Can we please get a real mod in here to end this fake mod and everyone else, including myself, from talking about this fantasy league from many years ago? It's the same story where it's the friends lying about how everything really went down in that league. I'm sure everyone is sick of having to read this crap.

Calling any real mod.

Who here is a “fake mod”?

Well now that the "real mods" left the floor open.

When you join a league that the settings says the commish votes on trades do you expect the commish to have rational discussions with everyone in the league before he decides if the trade is fair or unfair?

As I pointed out then...when you said "commish votes on trades"...we all thought it was a league vote that you participated in. Otherwise, why not just say "Commish is omnipotent"???

It was those little things that killed the league from the start.

Just curious, why didn't db70 just end the league and return everyone their 20 bux if it was such a nightmare for him?

You absolutely threatened me with an arm bar
Yep. I remember it clear as day, wasn't even in the league or anything that's just something I remember from the fall out.

Not true, before anyone signed up you said that the league settings would be voted on...once people signed up you set the trades to commissioner veto only. The majority of the members (myself included, at that time I was still in the league) wanted a league vote for trade vetoes. The majority felt giving you the sole power would result in you vetoing trades you didn't want happening, which unsurprisingly you did.

No one had a problem with the trade you vetoed....you were the only one who had an issue, if I recall correctly.

you said it wasn't a fair trade, you shit-ton of dip. You were wrong. Watkins outperformed Allen that year, so that alone should tell you

1) commissioners shouldn't have veto power at all, let alone based on their shitty assessments of players
and
2) you should never ran or run a FF league again

OK, so Nvans' a mod now? I honestly hadn't noticed that before.

Firstly, congratulations and well deserved.

Secondly, taking this from another posters inferences, will you be putting up a poll on which conservative posters should be permabanned or should we just DM you with our own lists?

Asking for a friend who seems to think you're planning on making CCS a Liberal/Socialist/Communist playground...

do you expect the commish to have rational discussions

In your league, no. In every other league I have been in for the last 35 years, yes.

A reminder, @dabears70 a few weeks ago he mentioned he just had a money league draft in July, think about that for a second, before a single preseason game has been played. I've never heard of that before, DB70 is obviously a liar and a cheat, but don't sleep on his stupidity and insanity.
