Nagy is 100% gone, and this lame duck period we are in with him is probably the biggest argument against giving guys "1 more year to prove" themselves.

You would think Pace is gone too, but the ownership group doesnt objectively evaluate staff performance so who knows what they do. George may think Pace was a nice guy to contractors when he paid to renovate HH and thats a quality to a GMmore important than building a winning team.

Pace sucks. Pretty boy that looks the part and well spoken. Too bad he is football stupid compared to his peers.

If Pace stays does it matter who is available on whether Nagy is fired or not? The person making the decision has to think they can get someone better. Hoping for no more HCs with no HC experience. Doesn't really matter what the fans think. They could give them both 5 year extensions tomorrow and most fans would complain and then move on.

If Nagy isn't fired, we fucking storm Halas Hall like the true patriots that we are.

Is anyone even taking bets still on Nagy being gone?

Nagy is a bad coach. No one on offense has gotten better under his tuteledge, the supposed offensive genius. So, why keep him around? Why keep giving him opportunities to sabotage Fields development?.
the only thing that makes any sense is they’re too cheap to pay for more than the last year of his contract.

Both Pace and Nagy are 100% gone there is no argument to be made on retaining either one and being able to sell the team improving to anyone .

But yet even still

Ted Phillips was named President and Chief Executive Officer on February 10, 1999.

How can anything better if he is still in charge after this season as well .

21 years and 6 seasons above .500 with 6 playoff appearances to show for it. Is that what the McCaskey's consider a job well done ?

But in that time Ted Phillips has made the McCaskey's billions so he is not going anywhere. The best Bear fans can hope for is a President of Football Operations to come in clean house and have George and Ted just get the fuck out of his way.

I'm on the Nagy 100% gone, small chance Pace stays.
