Thought it would be nice to have an OC Thread since the Fangio thread seems like it's for DC's. Mods, if you feel like this thread is redundant feel free to merge it or get rid of it. First bit of news:

Adam Jahns@adamjahns Source: #Bears have put in interview request for Rob Chudzinski for OC.

I'd be good with that.

Rams also put in the same request.

Gase is meeting with both Baltimore and Jacksonville likely to wind up there.

Greg Knapp is another speculated about candidate.

If I'm Chudzinski, I would take the Bears job over the Rams whether I hate Cutler or not.

Despite what they have said publicly Pace and Fox already have a plan for Cutler. First Pace did and when he was interviewing he made sure the HC was on the same page. Now that the two are talking to OCs they are asking whomever they interview their thoughts and making sure everybody is on the same page.

QB is too important of a position to have conflicting views from management/leadership. My guess is when trading is allowed you'll know quickly what the plans are for Cutler.

Exactly, they just cant publicly say anything because it will end up effecting what they do with him.

Even Dan Pompei spells out the problem

7. Starting to think the new OC might be a younger up & comer. Some of the established candidates might be more attracted to other QBs.

that is one persons opinion, which is why he used the word "might." I agree its possible, just like its possible that has no bearing whatsoever

That's fine but I respect the opinion of Dan Pompei over most people on a message board.

Chud has been my top choice along w/ little Shanny since the house cleaning. I love Chud and think he's a really good offensive mind. I really hope he ends up here in Chicago.
