Not even sure your point, Monty replaced Williams, not Swift.
I literally had one point. Are you too stupid to understand what that was? Monty > Swift.

You know the stats back that up. You just had no response to the truth. So to rebuttal you come back with this stupid comment.

so you're saying they're going to cut/trade roquan before he's 30? because guaranteed money 'only matters' when its a contract you're going to get out of before its finished. thats not what happens with players in their prime

and a renegotiation isn't going to make it cheaper. He isn't taking a pay cut in a renegotiation
Who even knows what happens in three years, for Christ's sake he could get injured, fall off, retire, etc. Are you really this stupid? they would renegotiate at the very least,, thus reducing his cap hit for those years. Buy a clue, would you?

Nagy loves to tout senior bowl guys. I don't think many people are actually projecting Steen that high. I think he'll be a 3rd-4th round pick.

That’s a huge part of his job. I think you’re right on Steen going in the third or 4th.

His pro day is today.

So your are saying RS essentially is playing on a $20M/yr contract for 3 years, as the highest paid ILB. While T Edmound's frontloaded contract will be played out to completion in team friendly years, where in his last season he will be have a cap hit of $17.4 M and with rising cap space means he will likely be well outside the top 10 paid ILB's.

All this with a player that quietly went about his business in his contract year and without chubby pornhub videos, screams of disrespect, requests for trade, camp holdouts, crashed cars, and missed games for "personal issues."

So.....win Bears and Cliff Stein
I am saying the Bears went from having the highest paid LB to having the 4th highest paid LB. The difference over three years is only 5 mil. Not hard to understand. The rest is just noise. You act like the Ravens are a shit franchise that don't know what they are doing?

Agreed.

Edwards seemed like a steal at the price we got him at, but i don't know a ton about him. Edmunds is arguably a better player and a better scheme fit for this defense than Roquan and seemingly signed for what Poles was offering Roquan. The LB group went from a liability (post-Roquan trade) to a strength in the snap of a finger.

The secondary could use another good corner but it's otherwise looking like a strength of the team as well.

Monty is more durable than Swift, that is the only conclusion you can draw from any stats.

I'm pretty sure Cliff Stein is the absolute best at what he does. He was great during his first tenure with Chicago too.
