I think that's because they merged the treads, the other thread had twice as many posts and views. When I last looked before the merge the other guy had 10k to your 5k, and the messages were about 240 to your 120.

“Kansas City will receive a third-round pick in 2022 and a third-round pick in 2023 as a reward for developing a minority General Manager hired by another team.”
if comes from the comp pool, we dont need to give up any picks. funny we never got anything for having Lovie as the first black superbowl coach.

I was re-examining some of the info out there on Ryan Poles. I read through that twitter thread again from Johnathan Wood where he expressed concern that KC had a couple of bad drafts when Poles got promoted into a higher position with more input into the draft in 2017 and 2018 (obviously Mahomes was a huge success). But it occurred to me that is the same time that KC changed from Dorsey to Veach as the GM. So in retrospect, I don't think it's quite as clear cut as he Wood expressed attributing those drafts to Poles as being subpar outside of Mahomes. So, certainly still a concern, but not as big of one as I had the other night.

It'll be interesting to see what sort of talent evaluator Poles ends up being.

I will also be very interested to see if he replaces Joey Laine as a cap specialist and brings a different mindset to how they structure contracts.
In 2017 KC got two starters out of that draft, Mahomes and Hunt. The 2018 draft was a bust, no starters. Now the 2019-2021 drafts were outstanding with nine current starters and no first round picks in 2019 and 2021, while picking at the bottom of the draft. Poles had a hand in finding all that college talent.

The odds say that he will suck and be fired in a handful of years because the Bears picked him

Curious when/if this GM prediction thread will be deleted; like the last one.
I honestly never see these deleted threads you keep talking about. We all are pretty invested in the results of this GM/HC search. I remember grimson making this thread and once again, major #CALLEDIT.

I know you two have this weird beef but this is a bad look by you. He got it right and its a hot thread.
