My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Real Salt Lake
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Utah Jazz
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Utah Utes
Well seems it is working as he is playing well. Maybe just maybe they are pushing the right buttons on the guy.

Yeah not quite. He didnt need 0.65 more seconds. Dude was open much earlier in route and the fumble was because he waited about a half second too long to throw.
Depends what reads he had in this progression

Might be working for Tevin but it sure as hell isn’t working for the team. Tevin needs to be in 100% of the time and Mustipher needs to be sitting 100% of the time, even with WH’s injury.

Eh Musty had 2 pressures given up going into the Giants game and Bears run game was gashing teams. If you are going to knock him for the 6 pressures given up then gotta give him credit for the previous 3 games IMO.

Freeze at 2:50, he is looking at Mooney who is about to come open. He can throw it to him. Now if you watch the all 22, it also looks like Mooney may in fact be running a double pick ie Kmet has already picked ESB's defender who has to run over the top of Kmet and then Mooney will come from the other side and conveniently get in the way of the same guy which gets ESB open even more.

The thing is Fields is the QB that called the play. If he is just looking at Mooney to sell it then he has to know where ESB is and that it is a double pick play and he has to get rid of that ball before Mooney completes the 2nd pick. He is just a tick too slow as far as I can see. Even if completed by the time he threw the ball the defender who nicks Mooney and stumbles likely recovers enough to prevent a bigger play. If he throws that ball a tick earlier it is completed just as Mooney nicks his defender and by the time the defender recovers ESB is gone.

He is still waiting a bit too long until the WR is fully open IMO.

Nope. Missing the big picture completely. This one stings because Fields once again showed poor pocket awareness and didn't protect the ball under a collapsing pocket. Pretending that everything is fine if he just had another half a second of protection, or got rid of the ball half a second sooner, is just a form of denial to his real problem, his pocket presence. All QBs are going to run into collapsing pockets during a game. The one thing they have to avoid is coughing the ball up. #1 priority - don’t turn the ball over. If Fields doesn’t develop a decent pocket presence, he has zero chance of ever becoming a competent starting QB…

Fluser hinted at a change this week at center

The way I saw that, he wanted Mooney on the slant but had he thrown it when he wanted to and on time Mooney would have gotten destroyed. Mooney ended up being knocked down (illegal contact no call) but he had EQ WIDE open on the underneath shallow cross for probably a huge gain. That ball needs to be out.

When asked if Sam would be at lg, he said they’re trying everything and made it sound like what was posted on espn is accurate. Carter is lg, Patrick c, Jenkins RG.

I simply don’t buy this “Mustipher only gave up 2 pressures bullshit.”

He was trash at ND and is trash in the NFL. ND homer here.
