Giants waited a while, but they fired Joe Judge, which now makes them more attractive to GM candidates.
I heard earlier a player quoting a GM candidate in this cycle who said he would not consider the Giants because they were retaining Judge.

I find it strange that Harbaugh hasn't gotten an interview lined up with anybody yet. If he was really interested in coming back to football, why is it taking him so long to interview?

But they're in a worse spot than simply not having a QB. They don't have one, but seem committed to their guy for one more year.

E.J Snyder is probably the best football mind in the city that's not on the radio or on a coaching staff. It blows my mind people would rather flock to TTNL or dabearsblog over his opinions, film breakdowns and analysis. He's top of the food chain and has a partner channel with Brett Kollmann on YouTube.
