I don't think the Warriors are remotely interested in such a trade, especially considering reports that they're trying to do a similar type of trade but go for someone like Beal. Unless they're targeting Vucevic, I don't see the Warriors moving that many assets to us. I could see them moving one of their picks for Thad, probably the 14.
I havent really heard them wanting to move Wiggins. I read they are dangling Wiseman and the 7th pick. That wont get Beal, but I read a target would Pascal Siakam with that package.

Yeah I read the same. I just figure if they were targeting someone like Beal at that point Wiggins is expendable with Klay finally coming back (knock on wood). Wiggins is such a frustrating player to me I can't imagine that he wouldn't be shopped a little just to see what they could get if he was offered

To me it would be a no-brainer to trade Wiggins. He doesn't really do anything particularly well.
While he's made improvements, he was once considered one of the worst defenders in the league. Now he's probably closer to just being not very good. He isn't a very good rebounder or passer. Not amazing from 3 or the FT line. I guess he's pretty good around the rim, but that's it. Back in Minny, I remember there being reports of how lazy he was and hardly even attempted any weight training to strengthen his body.

How he got that ridiculous contract is beyond me, but I would never want this guy on my team.

If the Warriors fall in love with his potential, they'll only burn themselves in the end.

Just seeing the impact of CP3 on a young Suns team I think a steady veteran PG like Conley Jr. would benefit this team. Coby isn't a championship starting PG in this league. He's more valuable off the bench.

Conley Jr is my #1 FA target for this team.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but to me he's just Coby if Coby learns to pass better. Graham is pretty inefficient, hasn't yet had a season shooting over 40% FG. For all the crap people give Coby for being inconsistent with shooting, Graham would be even worse

Both Beal and Jerami Grant in health and safety protocols. Patrick Williams might end up getting some run with team USA

Here’s a theoretical for you guys…

bulls get
Colin sexton and Kevin love

cavs get
Lauri(S&T) Sato Aminu

cavs are reportedly shopping sexton, and they would obviously “love” to get rid of love. It would allow the bulls to pick up a young guard without giving up any assets since they don’t have many assets to begin with. Obviously, loves contract is poisonous, and would make things challenging…but its a way for the bulls to upgrade the guard spot if they strikeout on FA’s(as usual).

starting 5 of
sexton lavine pWill Thad Vuc

bench
coby love Troy brown jr and whatever guys they decide to bring back that are currently not under contract. Some min level type guys and a MLE guy

biggest flaw would be the guards on defense

Man you give Lauri a lot of value.

I got a trade for you. Its biased, cause it will make the hornets even more fun to watch.... but its fair enough.

PG/SG Terry Rozier
SF/SG Gordon Hayward
PF Jalen McDaniels
#11 Pick

For

Zach Lavine , White, Young and Satoransky

Bulls could then flip that 11 or draft the future.

PG Rozier
SG # 11
SF Hayward
PF Williams
C Vucevic

Hornets - Taking running and sus D to another level

Signed and not matched Lonzo Ball
Sign and Trade Devonte Graham to New Orleans for C Jaxson Hayes
Sign FA C/PF Richaun Holmes
Sign FA C/PF Dwight Howard (yeah bring him back)

G Lonzo Ball
G Melo Ball
G Zach Lavine
F PJ Washington
C Holmes/Hayes/Howard

Miles Bridges
Coby White
Gelo Ball
Tomas Satoransky

Doubt the Bulls would trade him. Unless Lavine wants out, which according to him, he doesnt. He just wants the Max and more players. If the Bulls fail to land him another guy this year he still may step out next year.

You should see some other trade ideas for Lavine going back to Jan. My favorite one is Zach to the Heat for Herro and Dragic. Yeahhhh oookayyy.

Would be fun to watch him run with the Ball Bros though.

it’s not about giving lauri a lot of value. It’s the value of taking Kevin loves contract off their hands. Cavs are reportedly shopping sexton, and they are always looking to get rid of loves contract. This would allow the cavs to build around garland and free up their cap situation in return for sexton who can score the basketball but is atrocious on defense. His value isn’t THAT great

Yeah so the Cavs want cap room so they can attract Marquee FAs to Cleveland in 22-23?? When I think of a Marquee FA destination, its playing in Cleveland without Lebron

Sexton is in the final year of his deal, of course they are going to shop him if they dont want to pay him. Cause, Okoro showed some flashes last year and they want to pay Jarrett Allen. Loves contract will expire when they need to pay Garland.

Sextons value isnt that great?? Why do you want him?

Youre delusional. You overvalue your teams assets, while undervaluing other teams assets

Here’s another thought…

maybe bulls try trading for jerami grant to play the 4 spot. Give Detroit something like coby white and aminu for salary matching. Grant will be on an expiring deal and unlikely to re up with detroit as he doesn’t fit their window of competing. They would get coby in return who they would have control of for a couple years

plus, billy d has coached grant before

then turn around and do a sign and trade of lauri for lonzo ball

ball
lavine
pwill
grant
vuc

thats a really good starting 5

cant wait for draft night to get some clarity on what’s going to happen

So the Pelicans want to pay Lauri 15+ a year to play behind Zion and Adams?

Well if Bogdanovic can get 18 mil a year,...... Um okay hes a G. Thaddeus got what, roughly 14 mil a year from Chicago?
Your boy Jerami Grant got roughly 20 mil a season. Bobby signed cheap with Mil, but member, even the NYK gave him 31 over 2 (they declined the option) Portis will opt out of MIL and get paid more again.

15+ could be 15.0001. Just going on Spurs rumored Lauri offer projections of no more than 15 mil.
