Get a bigger tent. 4 foot is entirely to small. Once flower starts and they start to stretch you are fucked. This is a single sativa dominant hybrid in a 4x4x8 and the light is as high as it can go. The majority of branches are tied up to keep them from breaking. Also the top of the plant is tied down to the back of the tent about 10 inches from the floor.

It'll be fine.
If it works as planned I could have 30" of buds before it would be a problem. I want the buds starting at the bucket up.

This was the predominately indica with training. Plenty of light room that time.



This was the predominately sativa with NO training until after the fact. Most of the space at the bottom of the plant is wasted. No training is what got me thinking of converting the closet floor to ceiling.




Maybe someday I'll convert the whole closet if my tolerance goes up. But last time I did that in the 80s it took me until shortly before we legalized before I'd completely converted it back. This time with better ways of growing that will require more major changes for ventilation that won't be so easy to revert from or monitor smells with.

IL medical card holders: Morgan is trying to get a refund for us. IDPH is raking it in, they were supposed to be self supporting not a money maker.
What did you expect charging $100 for a $10 ID card?

The catch is the refund will be based on making a dispensary purchase 180 days prior to the bill passing and then yearly after that. Still screwing medical patients who grow to avoid dispensaries screwing medical patients.
I'm guessing it is up for the 2021 session.
Keep an eye on it, when it comes up buy something if you've removed yourself from the dispensary chain.

We're talking a lot of money. When recreational was passed they put all the medical money into the recreational fund. I think $12 million (but that may have only been half of it). I guess IDPH is already sitting on another $20 million.
He's thinking a $250 refund the first time.
After that it may be less worth it.

I don't think I said anything here: Also IDPH has proposed to JCAR that they lower card fees by 50% (except for the 3 year because math is hard).
And it sounds like life-long conditions will not only not need to recertify they will get automatic 3 year card for $50 if their rules are approved. Still no life-long conditions list. You know because not a Dr me can make that list from memory and Google in about 10 minutes, IDPH needs a year.
The majority of IL conditions should be considered life-long.
That's in addition to the free card for covid this year (if you fell between the Sept/Oct cracks on that one, sucks to be you).

This is inches from a bucket top. Hopefully there won't be a further down. Once it starts making buds I'll thin it out like it's under a net without the net.

Fuckin dispensary was busy as fuck today!
47 minutes from getting out of car to back in car.
Longest time ever excluding 1-1-20. Even on a weekend I'm usually out of there in 20 minutes tops.
Got some live budder and an eighth. Both hybrids. And got indica gummies to help me sleep.
These gummies are different than what I usually get. So I noticed that I ate 2 instead of 1 a few minutes ago. They're like big jellybeans, I grabbed one, but that it split in half in my mouth. Then I looked into container and saw.
Bah! At least I'll sleep good tonight.

At least I've got a tolerance to edibles where it's pleasant and I don't know how much would be too much. I've had over 25mg (homemade) in a night without a problem, although not all at once.
