If you knew he could bring along a seasoned OC who has worked in the McVey or Shanny system Brandon Staley would be right at the top of the HC list for me.
Truest damn post I’ve read in a while.

He’s on the Broncos list as well. Bear fans should hope gets one of those GM jobs. As a minority hire taking a promotion to head coach or GM, he will net the Bears 3rd round compensatory picks in each of the next two drafts. It is a new clause in the Rooney Rule.

“While a loss of a key organization figure would be a big blow to the Bears, it would also come with its advantages. As a result of the NFL’s expansion of the Rooney Rule, any team who loses a minority assistant coach or a personnel executive to a head coaching or general manager gig, respectively, will receive compensatory third-round picks in the next two drafts. If Kelly were to be the hire for the Broncos, then the Bears would receive late third-round picks in both 2021 and 2022.”

Bears exec Champ Kelly tied to Broncos GM job
Yessir. Would be a definite bonus. Kelly seems very well respected around the league. I'd expect him to get a gig sooner rather than later.

While I like the idea in theory. I'm not sure how realistic it is for him to get a HC gig yet. His body of work is pretty narrow at this point.

I'd be willing to risk it, I just like his style and philosophy. But obviously for a GM he would be on the list, not a shoo in candidate.

What’s wrong with people?
I’d rather live in San Diego or it’s suburbs than L.A.
So Fi stadium is less than 2 hours away.
I have driven as far as Milwaukee to work which is 150 away.
Weird aside. I've taken a Lyft from O'Hare to Milwaukee a few times and surprisingly it's less than $100.

Lawrence officially declared for the draft this morning. Not a shocker but it would have been hilarious if he decided to go back for his senior season. The outrage would have been huey.

Of course he did. Just as soon as he knew it wasn't going to be the Jet's with the first pick.

Didn't matter who had the 1st pick, when you know that you are going #1, you declare, case closed

Former Patriot LB Jerod Mayo is expected to get a HC interview with the Eagles. Crazy stuff. He's only been an assistant for two years.
