And not to mention the context around the Mitch pick, the trade up & the QBs (with long resumes) who were skipped over. Th Mitch pick will eventually make it to the NFL Net top 10 draft busts count down.

The pick in context was fine. The trade up was headscratching, but plenty had mitch over watson.

Almost no analysts had mahomes over either of them.

Many had Watson as the top QB, including John Fox. Mitch was one of those guys that the draft gurus run up the board to seem genius. A GM who knows talent & does his homework, knows better then to pick Mitch over Watson. Pace fell in love for things like Mitch’s wholesomeness. Smh

Living in Brazil, I haven't heard the story behind this.

Did the police find him a threat because he was carry a violin or because he was the leader of a gang of violin-loving cats?

He NEVER posed a threat in any way. He was just shy and had anxiety issues so sometimes he wore a face covering. Because he wore a face covering... while walking, minding his own business, with no reports of a crime or criminal activity at all (the guy had a squeaky clean record).... the guy was deeply loved by both white and black friends.... volunteered at an animal shelter.... played the violin.... was maybe 135 pounds, probably less.... but because he wore a face covering the Police were called... and once they saw that he was Black, the whole situation changed.... they just started mistreating and menacing him for no reason at all.... and then they killed him. The little gentle guy never once fought them. It was HORRIBLE.

Just like any organization, there are bad actors in the police. The problem is, there is a code of silence and it's considered a traitorous act to report racist speech and actions of fellow officers. The good cops suffer as a result because of anti-police attitudes on the part of many people. There needs to be a new code of conduct in law enforcement where racist and unneeded violent behavior is considered unacceptable and must be reported.

Black America has a two-headed monster that it has to fear, racial profiling and an often broken police department.

Earlier this week, a friend of mine asked me to help her with a youtube video in English. One of the points the author made in the interview on youtube was that, while 1 in 17 white people will face jail time, their black counterparts will see jail time 1 in 3 times. That is a sure sign of racial profiling.

The police and much of society will assume that a black man is up to no good and will either confront the man or will call the cops to confront the man. Once the police are involved, it sometimes escalates to tragic results. If there isn't a video, it is the cops word that is going to be believed 99 times out of a 100.

The event that you mentioned is exactly that. A 135 pound shy black man is seen as a threat because he has a face covering, someone calls the cops and some racists who can hide behind a badge murder him.

As Windy said in another post, those slime-ball cops should be thrown in jail instead of having the union defend them. It is a horrible thing to a family who lost a loved one, a community who cannot trust the cops and the majority of honest cops who are thrown into the same basket as those slime-balls.

Whatever happened to the cops who committed this terrible murder?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. This is part of the reason people have been protesting in the city where this happened... and is part of the nationwide protests.

This was a guy who volunteered at animal shelters, played the violin, was deeply loved by all who came in contact with him - just a pure hearted gentle spirit. He did not deserve to die this way. It is tragic. Something must be done.

Mitch's biggest negative in college was his lack of experience. He very much looked the part in his one season at NC.

Saying he didn't is dumb af.

This is heartbreaking.

Something must be done, but the only way to get something done is to draw the interest of people with political power who most are disinterested at best, if not openly racist. Take Trump as an example. He is pushing division and hatred, instead of uniting the country.

Right now it seems that "this nation, devoid of God, shall have a new birth of racism - and that the government of the rich, by the rich, for the rich, shall perish from the earth".

One season is the key word & that one season looked no where near like what we saw from Watson for multiple starting seasons at Clemson.

No excuses for Pace, he tried to create a Drew Brees fantasy.

Watson had a lot not to like as well.

Trubisky, on tape, showed a ton less flaws and had no injury concerns.

Neither of them were home run prospects or close to it. It's very easy to see why a scout would like trubisky the most out of the bunch. Once again, people are just making up shit to fill their own narrative. Mitch has not improved since college, the other two have. It's that simple.

Right now it seems that "this nation, devoid of God, shall have a new birth of racism - and that the government of the rich, by the rich, for the rich, shall perish from the earth".

I completely agree. Ever since Trump got elected something evil has swept over this country..... something very, very evil.
