Not sure why you are confused. If you hold the ball too long you are more likely to get pressured.

Justin has done a much better job protecting himself so he trusts running him more. He's moved the pocket for Fields tonight, we've had plenty of motion and even some hard counts to slow down (kind of) the pass rush.

This is how a good staff helps a struggling player with zero talent around him.
