COLE KMET vs ANTHONY HARRIS

With Darnell Mooney on injured reserve, Chase Claypool unable to suit of this Sunday and N'Keal Harry questionable, the Bears three starting receivers could be Byron Pringle, Equanimeous St. Brown and Dante Pettis. There is nothing to lead anyone to believe that the Eagles defensive backs won't make those three disappear from existence with ease, but if the Bears are looking for a place where they might be able to find a little edge, it could be at tight end. Cole Kmet is having a solid season in one of the league's worst passing offenses andthe Eagles are coming into this game pretty banged up at the safety position. They were already without C.J. Gardner-Johnson (on IR with a lacerated kidney) and now Reed Blankenship suffered a knee injury against the Giants. This week, the Eagles brought back veteran Anthony Harris to the practice squad and there’s a good chance he’ll be starting in this game. Harris isn’t awful but he’s past his prime and has just a few days to reintegrate himself in this defense. If I’m Luke Getsy, that’s the matchup I hone in on.

BEARS OL vs EAGLES DL

The Eagles’ pass rush has dominated the last couple of weeks and it’s not hard to see why. They’re getting leads and letting those guys hunt. It’s working. They have back-to-back games with 6+ sacks for the first time since 1998. In fact, the Eagles already have five players with 6+ sacks on the season. Bears quarterbacks have been sacked 42 times this season, the fifth-most in the NFL. So there is no reason to think the Eagles' deep rotation of pass rushers shouldn’t be able to get after Justin Fields on Sunday. The Bears’ bigger problem on offense is their lack of skill players but the line isn’t very good and the Eagles should be able to attack that. It could be another big game for Josh Sweat, who has five sacks in five games, and will spend a lot of time facing a rookie left tackle.

BEARS DL vs EAGLES OL

The Eagles’ defense is first in the NFL this season with 49 sacks, while the Bears find themselves dead last with 16 sacks. The Eagles can boast the best offensive line in football in front of a quarterback playing the best football of his career. If Jalen Hurts has less than twenty seconds to throw the ball, the shock may actually kill me.

This is a classic trap game. If the Bears are not focused and disciplined they could inadvertently win and ruin everything they've worked so hard for.

Fields may have more rushing yards than passing yards

Man. I don't care at all anymore. I just want losses and offensive production / growth / no bad injuries.

BUT, I'd like to give a huge shout out to @Penny Traitor who has been grinding it out every week for the last few years putting these threads together.

His time commitment to creating a central thread with all the relevant info, stats, great match-up insights...and a place for a bunch of you to act like whiny little bitches with zero perspective. Well, it's commendable. Thank you sir.

Funny. I hope that they win. People started rooting for them to lose since the opening game of the season. Tanking isn't in a winning coach or player's make up.

I think Fields breaking 1000 is the only thing fans care about this week. Oh and Monty doing great so the Bears don’t need to rush Herbert back during fantasy playoff/championship. Trust me, most fans want that too………

Bears should set the single game rushing attempts record today with the receivers they have in this game.
