When did I do this?using your own arbitrarily defined perception on what a running backs ypc should be without said "handicap"

I think they all just need to calm down. Are people so defensive that they have a problem looking at week by week stats? It's a fact that Howard was Star of the Game Thursday night, and it's inevitable that he is going to be a bigger part of the Eagles offense going forward. Don't open the thread if you don't want to see the facts.
This is so typical for a "Bears fan"!I will use this thread to see how the 2 statistically match up against each other throughout the season.
Since Monty has the handicap of playing on the same team as Kyle Long, we will adjust his total rushing yards by +10 for each game. At least until Long gets injured in ~4 weeks. I think that's fair.
Edit:
Stats thru 4 weeks - 30 yards added to DMonts statline due to 3 weeks of Kyle Long handicap
JHow: 40 rushes, 186 yds (4.7 ypc), 3 TDs. 6 catches 47yds 1 TD.
DMont: 58 rushes, 230 adjusted yds (3.9 adjusted ypc), 1 TD. 8 catches, 67 yds, 0 TD.
Looks like even after the adjusted Kyle Long handicap, it's still J How > D Mont

I know, for some reason Bears fans tend to blast players once they leave the Bears and go play for another team, no matter how much they've done for the Bears. We saw the same thing with Forte, it was sad. This is so typical for a "Bears fan"!
Sorry guys, I forgot about this thread. But, no worries, OP has been UPDATED.

So you're saying both 2016 and 2019 JHow performed better than 2019 DMont?Surprisingly, I went back and looked at Howards stats in 2016 as a rookie through 4 games and they were wildly similar to DMont's are now. He had about 60 more yards.
Phew, there is still hope for Monty

Yeah, I don't think it was a great comparison, but I was more or less curious.Problem with this is Fox wanted to run. Nagy would rather get fucked by a raging bull than committ to the run game.
Yeah, and only one RB appears capable of running the ball. Two different systems.
