Ok I understand fans' eagerness to see Fields but whats with this outlook like Fields is going to solve all this team's problems? The defense is still suspect, Nagy is still calling plays, Pace is still barely capable at keeping an Oline group together that isn't a major liability, etc.

Let's just hurry up and start Fields because at this point I want that to stop being the thing everyone focuses on

Nobody's saying that it'll solve all the teams problems people just want to see the potentially better guy at QB.

To be fair, maybe Fields is that special kind of talent that can solve "all of our problems". Or at least cover up our liabilities to the point where they don't matter.

Jaguars are pretty much the exact team Bears are except they are starting Lawrence.

If the Bears buck their historical norm and do fire Nagy midseason, Lazor is in the prime position to try and take over and show what his potential is. At this point, I think he could get as good if not better production from the same roster as Nagy so why not positively position himself if the opportunity arises.

"Would all the people that started another Justin Fields thread, when there are clearly six other ones on the front page, suddenly stop making their own thread because now there is only one pinned Justin Fields thread despite the fact no one even pays attention to pinned threads 98% of the time???"
They will make more threads just because of who OP is. This is a fact.

Let Bill Lazor be Fields' OC....Lazor is not afraid to shove some PA down their throat, in fact I believe Lazor was play calling in preseason for a half of Justin Fields when he did some big PA plays

*My Eyes

He was calling plays on sidelines during Fields play...i'll find the video and post it
To be clear: among many posters here, I’d inclined to believe you. I was just wondering if there was a note at the end of an article or something

i think the problem w/ Nagy for ownership is losing National games in humiliating fashion, it happens more than I've ever seen with this team in the past 50 years, I've seen some really bad Bears teams, and Nagy even though they backed into the playoffs last year had some seriously embarrassing losses where I fully expected to get ridiculed representing w/ my Bears hat out in public

Dalton was brought in because of his relationship with Lazor. Guessing he’s still in the Dalton camp and listening to his boss. I’m sure this quote was presser positivity speech.

However, fucking start Fields you sons of bitches!

Simple. Pace is forcing Nagy to put Dalton on display for the first couple of weeks to pan out, a starter gets a season ender, and boom trades Dalton and there ya go, Feilds takes over them there QB1 reigns yo!

Maybe Fields isn’t intelligent enough like Cohen’s family?

I have heard of stranger things. That's why Foles is still here.
