In a perfect world, the bears waffle-stomp the 9ers.
Then, Nagy comes back and goes completely counter to the 9ers game and gets himself waffle stomped vs Pit.

At that point, you would have to throw his ass out of the building.

Nagy might be faking for a variety of reasons

1...He gets a vacation, and if the team doesn't do any better under his replacement, Nagy can always claim it wasn't his fault when they played bad under him.

2...He is worried about getting fired and is using Covid as a shield

I don't, but it would be something very silly for the Bears org to lie about
I agree, but maybe they don't know he is lying..Maybe he got tested outside the team by a personal doctor?

I'm just throwing this out there as a possibility

Odd thing I heard on ESPN. They said Nagy will require 2 negative tests 24 hours apart before he returns. Is that a thing in any other state or just an NFL thing? When my daughter had it, she was told to quarantine 10 days and then don't get a test again for a couple months cause she could keep getting positives even though not infectious anymore.

My sister-in-law tested positive in the very beginning, over a year ago and to this day has never tested negative. Wouldn't that be great if Nagy never tested negative again and could never return to coach the Bears.

Watch them come and play completely different on offense. Lineman getting help against Bosa, RB screens, easy quick reads, and *gasp* a slant or two.
It really is baffling that teams are presenting the soft under belly to the Bears and Nagy can't seem to game plan or adjust to take advantage.

Nagy's entire game plan seems to be, "let's do something that they won't expect."
