Hmm interesting to note that when he mentioned he wants to have a winning team immediately. Gotta be careful with the words homie.

If this is the case, trade some of your assets that won’t be around when you compete. Thinking mostly on the D side and build heavily on the O side. A strong D will help Fields, but let’s cut the bullshit. Watson had some shitty Ds and still lit up the league and developed.

Bears hired another 12 year rebuild schmuck?

Honestly it comes down to Fields. If he’s a franchise QB, the rebuild becomes much much shorter. True franchise QBs can mask a lot of deficiencies
