Armstead is the player to spend a lot on, no doubt about it. Spend premier money on premier positions, not rocket science.

Everyone is gonna want Armstead. I have a hard time seeing why he'd come to CHI especially considering that he's waiting to see if Watson (i.e. a good proven QB) is coming to NO. Clearly that's a big part of his decision.

Money, have to be the top bidder. He is worth it, especially for this team. Agree though he is waiting on Watson.

Yea I know and just speculating about it. If he could be had for a 6th then I'd do it in a heartbeat. That's all you'd likely be doing with a 6th round pick anyway: rolling the dice on physical talent.
I'd be all over him for a 6th round pick and probably even a 5th.

Never thought Shenault was ever used correctly by the Jags. He really needs to be used in the pros just like he was in college at Colorado, slot, wide, and at times in the backfield.
They did use him all over but just not enough and didn't use him to run the ball as much as they acted like they were going to.

I don't think Flowers is a great fit for zone.

A.Robinson
D.Williams
J.James
G.Ifedi
DHC
D.Bush
T.Gipson
A.Ogeltree
A.Hicks
B.Nichols

Every one of those guys are great/good starters or good backup players.

Now tell me what garbage pff has to say about them??

A.Robinson - He already proved he was not a fit with Fields so no let him go.
D.Williams - You can find a comparable player for cheaper. See Herbert.
J.James - see comment under Williams.
G.Ifedi - see comment under Williams.
DHC - see comment under Williams.
D.Bush - see comment under Williams.
T.Gipson - see comment under Williams.
A.Ogeltree - see comment under Williams.
A.Hicks - Too old and already signed Larry O so not going to spend more money for Hicks.
B.Nichols - Already replaced him with someone that is a better scheme fit.

I presume we will replace most of these guys with better scheme fits.

Have not watched much of hooper the last couple years since he signed w/ the browns....but isn't his game similar to Cole Kermit?

Yeah if we target TE, we need a legit field stretcher IMO.

To me Shenault is a guy you get touches for more so than a receiver. Bubble screens, end arounds, the occasional go or post or corner route. He's not a guy that's going to attack the middle of the field with savvy or find the hole in a zone. But he can get looks short and create space long.

He should be used like Deebo and Patterson.

Every one of those guys are fine scheme fits and you won't find backups that are significantly better than any of these guys for the same price or around it but you can now tell me how they aren't good scheme fits and how you can find player at their level cheaper.

I will never ever get into another remy vortex.....too scary in there and a lot of talk that really don't have much meaning behind it besides you telling people you know all and we don't know as much as you.....PFF Hahahaha.
