He's started 6 games in his career. He's ascending for sure but we still don't know the contract terms.

It's all about expectations. If you went into this offseason expecting Poles to spend fairly big on any position, you were setting yourself up for disappoint (IMO). The Ogunjobi contract was a surprise as every other free agent we've secured so far were average and/or roleplayers. We were never going to get someone you could definitively say was above average, and as such, any player he was going to get was going to have question marks or some kind surrounding him otherwise the price wouldn't have been right.

It’s not a poverty pickup though. Multiple teams chased him and he got a 4 year deal. Clearly the NFL guys like him. It’s not the end of the world but it’s a guy Poles considered a starter so now we have another hole.

  1. Chicago Bears
Bears just need to go hard for O-Line in the draft.

I know people are mad about WR, but add a draft pick or a vet WR to the mix isn't a bad idea either.

At this point, just go replacement level defense, and go all offense in the draft, with a focus on the line.

Bills not only match bates but resigned boettger beforehand who would've been another decent option for the bears
