I guess we have to know what practicing hard means. If he means working the shit out of guys, I don’t think that’s what ultimately makes a team successful. IMO, teams/players don’t spend enough time studying film and learning technique. After that, it’s applying those techniques and perfecting their craft through repetition in practice, over and over and over again. I like to call it physical analytics.
Agree. If it is both, physically and analytically challenging with a focus on continuous improvement, we should see players develop into their best selves... Or as he puts it... "hardest thing you will ever do"...

Looked to be inevitable... He was not bad for 1st year DC... It will be interesting to see if we keep any current position coaches on Defense.
We shouldn’t. Get that whole coaching staff away from Halas Hall. They all need a fresh start.
