This will be interesting, I just read in the trib somewhere that they thought young might start over Porter, don't remember the why, but this puts that to bed.

Patrick has legs like tree trunks. He looks huge to be a rookie.

John wall looked pretty good tonight...just saying
He gets some weird hate from people. He was hyped hard but that was youtube and shit. He was explosive and probably the fastest guy in the NBA. Beal and him were fun and probably could have grown. But, I read he is focusing on more 3's which would be the best considering his injury.

PW looked like a boss. Very smooth offense, and solid defensively. This guy might be the best player from the draft.

Coby had another Coby day. Needs time to warm up then he's good.

What's the over/under on an Otto injury? I'm taking three

Ok, they got stomped, but it was the first game. There's alot to like here.

agreed on a lot of what you said. However, until they can become a league avg defensive team, they won’t be any good.

I dunno they were 12th in D rating last season, surprisingly. Their offense was atrocious.

I am a bit surprised to hear that. I wonder if all the 24 second shot clock violations on offense helped their D rating. I don’t think anyone would consider the bulls defense to be on the top half end of the spectrum based on what they see on the court.

the offense was certainly bad. I think most expect them to get better on offense, though. I think many question if guys like Zach, lauri, and coby can get better on the defensive end. Zach did play better defensively last year, but he certainly is no stopper still.

Yeah I didn't realize they were 12th until I was looking at them for some reason last week on basketball-reference. I think Donovan can probably get this team to a middle of the pack offense this year. Hard to say what becomes of that D rating. Like you, I didn't think they were any good (though I also didn't watch one game last year).

For reference, Donovan had OKC at 16th in offense and 7th in D.

im unfortunately a masochist, and I watched the majority of the games last year. I’m not an nba scout by any means, but they looked bad in all aspects, and nobody scared anyone defensively other than Kris Dunn...and he’s gone now. Billy D has his work cut out for him no doubt.

I agree. They will be a trainwreck this year, but fun to watch Coby and PW develop

I don't know if that'll be the case. I'm 50/50 on the idea that they make the playoffs, but I don't suspect them to be as bad as they were last year.
